Why it is Prescribed

Simethicone is used to treat the symptoms of gas such as uncomfortable or painful pressure, fullness, and bloating.

How it Works

Simethicone comes as regular tablets, chewable tablets, capsules, and liquid to take by mouth. It usually is taken four times a day, after meals and at bedtime. is it possible for Simethicone to not create larger gas bubbles in the stomach...

I think the whole idea is for it to make the little ones bigger so you can burp. The little one's get trapped in whatever is in your stomach.
