Intracranial pressure, , is the pressure exerted by the cranium on the brain tissue, cerebrospinal fluid , and the brain's circulating blood volume. ICP is a dynamic phenomenon constantly fluctuating in response to activities such as exercise, coughing, straining, arterial pulsation, and respiratory cycle.
