Well Darvocet and Ibuprofen work on different mechanisms when it comes to pain and you could actually take 3 ibu 200mg every 6 hours (not to exceed 12 per day)...

Talwin doesn't do much for stones. I've had 14, and they've always given me Percocet or Mepergan Fortis. Neither of these can be called in, so you'd have to see...
