Buspirone is an anxiolytic agent and a serotonin receptor agonist belonging to the azaspirodecanedione class of compounds. Its structure is unrelated to those of the benzodiazepines, but it has an efficacy comparable to diazepam in treating generalized anxiety disorder. im supposed to start buspar (antianxiety medication) tomorrow. but i plan on drinking. so should...

Buspar is not a med. that makes you sleepy nor is it an addictive med. just so you know. Honestly don't know how it affects the liver though.

How long does it take buspar to leave your system?
I took buspar for a short period of time, about 3 months, it dangerously dropped...

The half-life of Buspar is about 2-3 hours. So, it's out of your system now.
