Vitamin D Deficiency Linked to Breast Cancer The striking findings from a Canadian study was released in advanced of this month's annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. The study found that women with vitamin D deficiency were 94% more likely to see their cancer spread - and 73% more likely to die - than women with adequate levels of the vitamin. Vitamin D can be found in fish, oysters, dairy products, and is mostly produced in the body when the skin is exposed to UV rays. Full story. Your health is important.
